Hi all,

Just wondering.  How are you using your tablet?  Are you using Metro Apps?  Are you using it as a laptop? etc?  What software works well for you (web browsers, ereaders, email, etc)?

So far for me,  I'm using the following software

Civ V - directx 9 only

Chrome - in windows 8 mode

Remote Desktop

So far I am using it for just about everything (except it will not play Blu-Ray disks).

Hello sdcoil, I just got my W3 and am exploring how to use it also. I am mostly using the desktop. Deleted most all Apps, will add as needed.

Today, I was getting ready for a trip this weekend and thought of taking my Epson photo scanner like I have several times. Then I thought of the W3 tablet. I loaded the drivers with USB drive. I then plugged in (microUSB) the scanner and it installed perfect. This makes the the scanner a copier. The laptop is no longer needed to control the scanner and with the WiFi, I can send to the printer.

    Acer Crystal Eye Camera

    Remote Desktop

    manage routers

    Online Bible

    VSee skype alternative

    VLC media player

    YawCam webcam

    WIN7 games

    Fiddler2 sniffer

PS - Padgett, I like the smaller stylus. It only makes a small difference, but when you are talking about a headache it helps.

BTW I have the font set at 150% and "large buttons" in the tray. It helps. Autohiding the tray is a pain because it is hard to get back.

The sylii I nentioned before "SODIAL..." are longer than the mini's but slender enough I have not problem. The second 8" touchscreen (dual display) beeps losing its touchscreen calibration though.

Major annoyance is the lack of Clover Trail support for Blu-Ray

Yes, I got the Sodials - pkg of 9

Also I found tapping to get the tray back instead of swiping worked most of the time.

Just want to say thank you to all that responded.  If anyone would like to add on, that would be great!
