Laptop with problem rendering design of website

I bouth and S7 about 5 days ago and I am having problems probably with the network drive or something like that.

A few websites that I open, which have a simple web design, are not rendering right. I have an HP notebook and these few websites open really fine only in my S7 not. Including my company's website does not render right in the Chrome. I have the latest version and it is not showing everyting. The same problem with IE, FF...

I tried all major browsers and I realized it has for sure something to do with the computer cause other laptops show the website really fine.

What should I do? Return de laptop? Is there already an update/upgrade to fix this? I am only a webdesigner and do not know too much about programming and stuff like that so I have not idea how to fix this since I spent a lot money in this new computer.

Thank you

I spent the last hour sutying many forums in the internet and I found another guy with the same problem. He told he returned the device and asked another one. The problem is that I bought the S7 in the US and now I came back from my travel and I am in Brazil. The stores here will not accept the return of the product.

So my only option would be a solution, an update... I do not know. I would be very glad if someone in the ACER support center or an expert that works on acer could try to open one of these websites using the S7 and tell me if the problem happens. If the problem happens then it will be clear that's a bug with the S7.  Can some expert of ACER please check if the problem happens in http://www.sitepor500.com.

    Thank you for assistance!

Gilperon, I opened your company's website with no difficulty from my desktop, so the logo isn't the problem. (Nice site, by the way). I suspect that there is a problem with your video card, because you have a site that requires high-intensity graphics. Can you give us the full model number of your Aspire S7? And does it open other websites without a problem?

Is it possible that you hve installed software from your own company that is interfering with the site?

    Hello Mr. Vince53,

Thank you for helping me! I am happy it worked on your desktop but I still cannot open it in my S7. If it were a cheap notebook I would not complain, but I payed a lot and I hoped I would not have problems like this.

As you asked my model is S7-392-6411 (it is written in the box).

I still did not install any other uncommon software. I intalled only ADOBE Reader and Photoshop cause I work with webdesign.

There is also another website with the same problem, the Microsoft.com which appears all broken but I dont care too much about it cause I dont use it, I only opened it to buy my Office license. But Microsoft has the same problem and it's not a graphic intensive site (at least in my opinion).

As you suspect, do you know where could I download the driver of the video card? My S7 came with NO dvds/cds!

Thank you so much for taking your time to help me solve this problem!

Gilperon, I looked at reviews for your machine. It comes loaded with Windows 8, Skype, and an ad for Microsoft Office, and no other software. And you mentioned that it has trouble with the Microsoft Office site.

If you're lucky, it's only a software problem, and you can try returning your machine to its factory setings, which MIGHT solve the problem.  But first, make sure that your anti-virus is up-to-date, and run a deep scan. Some new owners of Windows 8 are surprised to learn that their Windows Defender software (included with Windows 8) is not updated.

If that doesn't work, download the free Win Patrol program. It will tell you what programs are starting up every time you turn your laptop on. Disable (but do not Delete) programs you don't want. Do not interfere with any program from Microsoft. Later, you can Delete unwanted programs if everything is all right.

I don't know if your rig can run a DSL cable instead of wireless. If you can, try going onto the internet with DSL (or even dial-up) to see if that solves the problem. If it does, then the problem is with your wireless card, and you'll have to take it to a computer shop.

As I understand the Acer International Warranty, an Acer service center in Brazil will honor your warranty. Try http://br.acer.com/ac/pt/BR/content/home for some extra help online.
