Acer V5 Problem

Hi, I recently bought an Aspire V5 and now have a problem. I partitioned drive C: leaving 70gb for windows and the rest for myself. Unfortunately since I did this the erocovery doesnt work anymore. On examination I have some small unnallocated space also. How do I get the hard drive back to its original configuration so erecovery would work. I dont mind reformatting as there is nothing worth keeping. One thought I did have was to move the push button reset to an external then erasing the Aspire completely (getting rid of all partitions) and then recovering from PBR (from the external), would this work? I am not particually bothered about losing the Acer recovery bit but I would like a way to reinstall windows 8 if I have problems.

Thanks

Problem solved, I have got the eRecovery working again, this seems to be a problem that crops up quite a bit and can be resolved within minutes but I am yet to see a solution on the forum. Oh well I would say thanks for the help but there wasn't any.
