No longer have MS Office on my Aspire 5920

I know it's been several years that I have had my laptop. I love it.

Two questions

1.  Some how, I have no Microsoft Office on my computer. Is there somewhere I can download it? Haven't needed it that bad, but now have volunteered to manage a page on a site.

2.  My computer will run an update but gives the message that it could not load an important item. I have no clue on what to do about that.

Thank you so much for any assistance you can give me.  Connie

Hi, have you looked in control panel? OEM Software is usually on a 60 day trial basis, and if you havent uninstalled it you should be able to find it there.

Hi! The Office Suite could be there, only you have to search it (If installed)

If you have Windows 7 you could search on "Start" and then "All programs" - and search Microsoft Office Folder.

Also you could Press simultaneously "Windows + R" keys and write winword. If Microsoft Office is installed the MS Word should appear.  If not (if an error dialog appears) Microsoft isn't installed and you should find it on internet (on Microsoft Office Home page) and download a demo.

And the second thing you ask... If you refer to Office, it could be an error and you should reinstall it with the original disk or downloaded program.
