We would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

Ok, thank you for the attempt. I guess the people in this region would be more knowledgable of the local product design?

Not quite sure who this will be, maybe I will have to change laptop for another make and model. No good with USB ports not working. Thanks again.

There is very little information in the initial post.

If you have ports that are not working, it needs service.

What occured prior to the ports stopping working?

Hi. Thank you. Nothing changed, just my usual email checking and bank, facebook an the usual stuff. I then swithced off until the next usage. I have opened the laptop this morning and now the other rightd hand side port USB has ceased to function. No extraordinary events have taken place with my surfing and I have not made any changes. I am really dissapointed in this problem as I have now only got the left hand side USB port working (next to the HDMI port).

I am surprised that I was referred to my "regional" support for ths problem as I understood that this was the reason for the online "Forum Discussion" and assistance.   Have you any idea how to resolve my issues, please?

Your initial post says, "I have USB PORTS, right side not working" which I took to mean that all of the USB ports on the right side were non-operational.  Now you are saying it was a single USB port?  and that the other has also failed?

That definately sounds like a hardware problem, not software.

This is not a technical support forum.  It is a peer-to-peer community with users helping users.

I am available to assist with issues that fall outside that and to take care of Acer related issues.

So, I would advise that you contact the Australian Acer service center to arrange for service to correct the inoperable USB ports.
