This monitor is new with new HP Pro 3500 computer - with Windows 7, IE 9.

Monitor picture is very faded and pictures are not crisp and clear.  There are buttons on the bottom edge of the monitor which the manual says to Press a certain key.  There is no way to PRESS.  Mouse will NOT go on little window which doesn't stay up but for a few seconds.  Arrow keys do not work either.  Need to make adjustments to the brightness and contrast.  Print is too faded out.

First and foremost, if HP shipped you everything together, it's their problem - contact them. HP systems are notorious for having various problematic issues that are mostly from their own design. Either/or, it sounds like a very odd setup...

If you bought the system without the monitor, and bought the monitor through another party, then you still may not be in the right place*. The monitor should be set up already, but as it seems like its not, you should be able to fully navigate the settings of the monitor itself using the various buttons on the bottom right - check the manual you should have received with it. Try to find a section concerning orientation/position and experiment with the settings until you see the full image of the screen. You cannot use the mouse or keyboard to navigate these menu's as the mouse and keyboard are not (and cannot be) connected directly to your monitor.

*It seems as this may be a technical issue, and thus, you should contact technical support through Acer - not these forums.
