Why does a "not genuine" message appear on my screen (Windows 7)?

I have an Aspire desktop and have been using it for a few months. Today I noticed that this message appeared on the screen "Windows 7; Build 76091; This copy of Windows is not genuine." Why is this message appearing when the machine and the software didn't display this before?

    Good day

    1. What model machine are you using?

    2. What does your Windows License under the machine read as? Does it say Windows XP, Vista, 7 Starter, Home Basic, etc.

    3. Go to computer properties and see which windows edition you have and go down to system and see who the manufacturer is and the system type you have as well.

    4. Was the machine at the repair centre few months ago?

Send details so we can assist further.
