Acer travelmate 5720 - battery pack

Question

Hi,

I am currently using the ACER travelmate 5720.

The batery pack is not working which was a warranty replacement.

Currently i want to upgrade to good battery pack for the laptop.

However i confused that to use the spcifications of old battery pack (warranty replacement) or orginial battery pack of Travel mate 5720.

I hope that both specifications are different like interms of make, voltage,current and capacity

(The warranty replacement specifications are Make Sanyo - GRAPE32, Voltage 10.8V, 4400mAh, current 3.2A)

Kindly requesting someone to confirm on the suitable good battery pack for the laptop

The part number you list is not an Acer part number, so I would not be able to verify.

The list provided above is all of the information that I have available for this systems battery.

I would suggest comparing the battery to the previous battery shipped with the system.

Thank you very much for your reply.

However, I was happened to procure a replacement battery from one of Acer's network in Chennai (India) few days back.

I am herewith providing the key details of the same, Is it possible share your opinion on the same.

Battery pack model: TM00741 (P/N: LIP 6242ACPC )

Rating: 11.1V, 4400mAH

Charging current: 3.52A

I hope this battery pack belongs to travel mate 5320.

(Note: I have an observation that after immediately replaced the new battery pack, the LCD screen becomes unreadable for first power on. However, after successive trials I have not encountered any such issue till now. Is there any co-relation for the new battery pack replacement and the issue)
