Bought a used Aspire E1-571 and the hard drive was going bad. The laptop would still load windows 8 but kept crashing. So I bought a used Western Digital hard drive that was wiped when I bought it. I installed the new/used hard drive and inserted Windows 7 cd, (It had win8 on it originally), and getting this error message:

ATAPI CDROM: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N has been blocked by the current security policy. The rest of the screen is black or brings up Boot Manager to select IPV4 or IPV6. When I select either one of the IPV's, I get the following errors:

NETWORK BOOT IPV4: B8-88-E3-BE-51-CC boot failed. Same message on IPV6. I also get a NO BOOTABE DEVICE. I don't have a start menu or any sign of a windows program. I tried to go into the bios with F2 and no luck.

Can you help?

In a nutshell, disable secure boot, switch to 'legacy', remove ALL passwords.
