i have purchased an acer tablet ,,, big mistake ,,,to register it i need the serial no ,,, which i cannot find ,,, so i try to get help and support ,,, but in order to do thid i have to state the serial no ,,, mmm wait a minute ,,, this is beginning to sound a lot like microsoft ,,, they use these kind of scams on their customers ,,, well thought out ,,, bbut i will never touch acer ever again and the tablet is going in the bin where they all should be ,,, marks out of ten for acer    zero ,,, to be avoided ,,,

Serial number is on the box and call S/N.

 

And you can use your tablet without registering.

Also if you boot to the BIOS setup (how is in the instruction manual and depends on model) the s/n is displayed under System or Info.

 

And to get support you just need the SNID which is on the tab somewhere that says "SNID:" (again model dependant)

 

I have never had trouble reaching or getting support to respond. Getting something more meaningful than "reload everything" now...
