Acer Ring >> Acer Music

I've got a w700, and just started using Acer Ring because the music controls are quite handy. However, I can't find any way to either search the music list or create playlists. Seeing as I have quite a few albums, scrolling through each item and selecting is quite a pain.

 

I can create a single playlist, but I'd prefer to be able to create playlists or even import them from winamp or iTunes - does anyone know if this basic functionality is available, or if I can change the Ring to control a different media player?

There is no built in search function or ability to create additional playlists.

 

I do not know of the ability to import outside playlists into Acer Music.

It is not possible to change Acer Ring controls to a different player.

 

If you would like to quick launch another application from Acer Ring, you can add it to Favorite Apps and launch it from there under Acer Ring.
