iconia A500 doesn't recognized by any pc or mac

Hi
I don't know what happened but the A500 just stopped to be recognized by any device. It's running stock android 4.0.3.

I started to think that the micro USB port just died in the device. I have tried to do a factory reset, but not helped at all. Any other way to reset the device if that is a software issue, but i don't think so...

 

I have tried with 3 different USB cables, different laptops but nothing, I doesn't even show up in the device manager and i don't get any feedback on the device that usually shows up when the device is connected to a laptop.

Any ideas?

    Unfortunately, that's not a software issue, but a hardware one.  The device itself would be recognized by its hardware ID, which does not appear to be happening.

     

    My only suggestion would be to contact your local Acer service center for options.
