Failed repair

I had to get the hard drive for my aspire replaced while it was within the warranty period (which expired in April).  Now, only 4 months later, the replacement hard drive has failed.  Will Acer do nothing to help me?  It seems as though I was given a defective hard drive as a replacement for the original that failed.  I can't contact a human being- all I get is their recording saying I'll have to pay for support if it's outside of the original warranty.

    They might be able to help you but we won't be able to confirm whether they will or not. My advice? Go to a local shop and copy the SNID or Serial from a new unit and feed that to the machine. Then you can speak with an agent regarding your issue.
