Problems contacting customer support

About a year and a half ago my 3820TG started experiencing trouble with some keyboard keys intermittently not working and some acting as if they were jammed in. I therefore registered a repair with customer support. Suddenyl the problem resolved itself without the need for any action from an outside party.

Now the same problems are back, and even worse, so I figured this time I would actually send my laptop off to be repaired. Turns out I can't because I can't delete my old repair request, and can't even contact customer support as long as this case is pending. Which is a hassle because I can't contact customer support to cancel my pending request.

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this catch 22?

PS. The webiste I bought my laptop on tells me to go directly to Acer and 2 weeks of bugging them hasn't changed their position.

    Good day

    1. Update your bios to the latest bios version.

    2. Im not sure which keys works intermittently and therefore will ask you to reinstall the Launch Manager

    3. Last but not least, you will have to backup your data and reload the machine to factory settings.

    4. Get Acer Technical Support to cancel the pending case on your behalf...In fact, tell them to do that, dont ask them
