Travelmate LEDs blinking

Hi, I have an Acer Travelmate 5742ZG

Intel P6100

GeForce 540m

4GB RAM (kingston)

Here's my problem:

1. It heats up so freaking fast I have to use cooling pad to prevent it from shutting down. (It was like this from the start, it's not dusty inside)

2. When I plug in the power cable, it works fine, but when I run any game, all 3 LEDs start to blink. it doesn't charge the battery then. It's fine again after I minimize/exit the game... any ideas?

The temperatures while gaming with the cooling pad are:

CPU - 60-70

GPU - 50-70 (underclocked to prevent overheating)

OK, I figured out what's wrong... If anyone else has a similar problem, check feed socket or whatever it's called (the thingy  power supply goes in ~_~). Two wires were touching each other when I pressed from above (keyboard). Adding some isolator solved the problem.

(sigh) You should have taken it back immediately. However, you can look at the causes for overheating. Hold your finger over the exhaust vents to make sure the fan works. Your heat sink might not be working. And my best suggestion of all is to take it to a shop, because you have a major problem.

And now a very serious suggestion. Put your hand over the battery to make sure that isn't where the heat is coming from. If it is, your battery has an internal leak and may explode.

Fan is working, and the battery is really cold actually. I noticed there's a small, hard to see probably burnt (it smells a bit too) place on the mobo (right next to fan)... :/ Pretty sure that's the cause because I haven't seen it until just now. I guess I'll have to replace the burnt element or a whole mobo... and I don't know if it's worth it. Anyway, thanks for the response!
