How to: -Disable AcerCloud?

I have absolutely no use for this application.

It's not 'cloud storage' it's just a waste of space and it means I have to pay for the electricity to run my server and pay for the bandwidth between server and client.

I don't have a windows PC to serve anything to the A700 (Android 4.1)

How can I remove or disable this without rooting the device?

Assuming Windows 8, go to Start screen or all apps, to find the AcerCloud icon. Right click the icon. Select uninstall from popup menu.  (You can always re-install the app from the Acer homepage.)

    With A700?

    - Settings - Applications - Long press on Acer Cloud - Uninstall.

But, if Acer put this app in System, you have to be root to uninstall it (with Titanium Backup).

Have you installed AcerCloud by yourself? If so, you can uninstall it. If AcerCloud is preloaded in system, it seems unable to be uninstalled or removed manually, my suggestion is that you sign out your Acer ID to ignore that.

Could also put the Acer cloud URL in the HOSTS. file as a loopback.
