The alert mentioned above appears as loading and every time you change a function. It states" The specific resource language I.D. cannot be found in the image file. McShielddll: The system cannot find the file specified."with a ok at the bottom right corner. You cannot proceed to do anything until you click on the ok then it clears the screen. As soon as you do any function like go to a web page the alert message appears and you have to click on ok to continue.Every time you change a page or go to a different area the message appears and you have to click ok again to clear it.I got this from Tiger Direct for buying an expensive item.I did the same earlier and gave the device to my sister and works fine.I need help to eliminate this nagging problem.I have tried everything I know but nothing has worked. Please Reply with suggestion so I can correct this problem

    Good day

The only way I got rid of that  was to get rid of McAfee antivirus and use Microsoft Essential. You can also try the steps below. It has worked for me many times.

Step 1 of 6  Reboot the computer. Press "F8" at the boot screen and wait for the advanced boot options to load.

Step 2 of 6  Load the "Safe mode with Networking" option.

Step 3 of 6  Navigate to the DLL Error website and download the mcshield.dll file. Save it to your desktop and unzip the file.

Step 4 of 6  Press the Windows key, and open the "My Computer" or "Computer" folder.

Step 5 of 6  Click on the "C" drive, then "Windows", and last "System32."

Step 6 of 6  Drag the mcshield.dll from the desktop to the System32 folder. Choose "Yes" to replace the old, damaged file.
