new to acer

hi everyone, had a dell for 8 years, the dell finally died on me , they said the motherboard went in it so i thought i would give acer a try , well what a piece of junk , after 6 months it started to freeze and sometimes it would shut down , so i took it to the future shop store where i bought it and 2 days later the store called me and said the mother board was shot . they told me the computer was under warranty and i only had to pay the 80.00 it cost to find out what the problem was . the funny thing is it will take 4 weeks to get the part in and they will call me when it is fixed . what a piece of junk . the next will be a dell or an apple . oh , and by the way , i sent acer an email a week ago and still no reply, what a piece of junk ..

    Please note that it would be best to contact Acer who would have provided you with a free diagnosis of the problem and would have done a free repair of the unit within the warranty terms.
