Can some one tell where I can buy windows 7 on a usb drive to install on a acer aspire one?

Success, I cannot find anything on buying a legal copy of Windows 7 on a USB drive. Why don't you give us your computer's model number (there are many varieties of the Aspire 1), the name of the original operating system, and why you want to do this.

Model number is "D255E" The opersting system is "windows 7 starter". The reason is that the acer is in Hungarian and it is difficult to follow the instructions and trying to figure out the commands.

Success, there is more than one version of your model, but essentially you have a well-made low-budget netbook. If you re-install Windows 7 from another source, you will lose your drivers. You may or may not be able to get the right drivers for your specific model, and even then, they might not work.

 

I think you already know that you can't do high-end software, and by now you must have figured out how to get on the web despite the language problem. My advice is that since you've learned to live with a Hungarian computer (I've learned to live with a Mexican laptop) continue the way you are.
