I am sorry to say that I find it incredible that there is no way to easily ask Acer any questions - be it by email or by phone unless I already have a system and a serial number that is in warranty
I have been looking to buy a PC for work and I find it soooo frustrating that I am completely unable to contact Acer - for such a big company they do not make it easy to get information. WOW - truly awfull
I was trying to get some info about the Veriton 45620G-Ei5333X about what comes in the box - what type of media and I wanted some extra RAM and it is not clear what RAM is needed
So here are my concerns -
1) The Web site refers to Acer Synergy Gold Suppliers in Montreal Quebec who are useless - so why bother ?
A) Dumoulin - They went bankrupt a while ago - kind of strange to still have them listed?
The big box stores - They do not deal with the Veriton Line and it is a waste of time trying to talk to a 19 year old kid who is more interested in selling the HP computer of the day than products that are not easy to find
C) MicroBytes - as soon as I walked in they advised me that they do NOT sell prepackaged or brand name computers and they promptly tried to sell me an in house build for more and I walked out
I really do not understand why yAcer does not bother having an information line for people to call and ask questions about products - how sad - how about adding a support page by e-mail for sales questions and even for out of warranty tech questions - at least Acer could answer them and maybe even call some of those who might deserve a call.
It is amazing that I was able to call HP sales and they passed me on to tech support to answer a few simple questions.
Acer is a HUGE company - maybe they should invest in a little better support
And Acer Employees - if you are monitoring this --- Fix your web site and WAKE UP!!!
