M5-581T-6405 Immediately Reboots

So while this laptop has so far been performing just fine, I've encountered this issue where if I do anything that requires high demand of the GPU while running off the battery, the computer reboots immediately.  I can run the task for a long time on AC and it will continue just fine.  I can run CPU stress tests and max it out 100% and it'll run fine on the battery.  It seems to be specifically the GPU while on battery, and only when doing something that maxes out the GPU.  If the GPU is not maxed out, I don't encounter a problem.

I'm guessing the problem is that when pushing the GPU to it's limits, it likely is invoking the turbo mode of both the CPU and GPU at the same time, which is a little too much for the battery to handle.  I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this, other than "don't do anything GPU intensive while on the battery."

A BIOS update to disable turbo mode would be appreciated, or at least a way to force disable it on both CPU and GPU while on the battery.  Besides, I don't want turbo mode on battery anyway.
