Can anyone help - when I play a CD the music and voices sound as if they are being played at a higher rate per minute (like chipmunks) – I also don’t appear to be able to play DVDs.

Thankyou

There are two seperate issues listed.

    1. CD audio sounds like "chipmunks" - This is an issue that has been around for many years.  Some people are able to resolve the issue by reinstalling the sound card drivers.  Other have adjusted the controls in the audio control panel to resolve the issue.  Without knowing what has recently occured on the system, what software has been installed, etc.  I would not be able to make more specific recommendations.

    2. DVDs "don't play" - This could be any number of issues.  What software are you using to play DVDs?  Have you attempted to use a different player, like VLC ?
