Hi "Mods",

Can I a clarifying question...

Do the moderators of this forum provide any technical solutions/support (i.e. address the questions asked with ACER technical support) and/or raise suspected defects with the development teams

or

Just manage the forum policies/rules and practices?

Thanks, Alastair

    Hello Alastair,

A forum moderator’s job is to maintain the forum itself, so we are unable to access accounts or provide support and technical information.  When appropriate we may direct members to the Knowledge Base section if we feel that may help in resolving their issue.

The Acer staff monitors the topics presented here and you may notice Acer Technicians jumping in from time to time on specific issues. However, this community is not a direct portal to customer service and is primarily designed as a peer to peer support forum where Acer users help other Acer users.

The Acer Support Forums is an additional resource provided to our customers in order to resolve issues that may arise. I think you will find that many of our members are well versed in Acer products and are willing to share their experiences and advice.

I hope that helps to answer your question and I thank you for your interest and participation in the Acer Support Forums.
