Hi

We have to replace a missing cpu for a M460 with mb acer ef31m v 1.0

(pc was bought with a bunch others as dismissed: it is missing also ram, hd, sata cables)

the mb is marked with

acer ef31m v 1.0

all data I can read on the case label are

mfg 2008/04/05

snid 81402802627

s/n psm46c630481406d7a2702

which cpu models may I use with this pc? then, I have to find any suitable on the web shops...

I wish mainly to find out if it is still convenient to buy all the replacement parts, cpu/hd/ram/cables, in order to make this quite old pc work again.

Thanks,

Marco

As this is not a PanAmerica system, my information is a bit limited.

    It shipped with this CPU:

    KC.21801.DEME CPU PDCE2180 (2.0G 1M 800FSB) M-0

    System supports:

Socket Type: Intel® Socket T LGA 775 pin

    Intel Celeron / Celeron D / Pentium 4 / Pentium D /Pentium Dual Core / Core 2 Duo / Core2 Quad / Yorkfield / Wolfdale

    CPUs FSB 533/800/1066/1333 MHz CPUs

I hope that helps you find what you're looking for.

    Thank you,

I can find only this cpu on web shops nearby

    http://ark.intel.com/products/40478/

    for around 60 euros, new.

i guess I'll have to go for it or search something better, used.

ps: I am just curious about the "PanAmerica system"?

do you mean my model is European so you have less info about it?
