Good morning Community!

Just bought a refurbished Acer V3-571G-9683 and was booting for the first time. As it was preparing Windows, I received an error (something to do with the power), saying that Windows had to restart. It happened once more before loading Windows 8. Then I got this message:

c:/windows/minidump/071513-18062-01.dmp
c:/users/JMck/AppData/Local/Temp/WER-48687-0.sysdata.xml
c:/windows/MEMORY.DMP

Note: I didn't have the power source connected when I first turned the laptop on.

I'm in Windows now and the only tiles I see are Internet Explorer, Desktop, File Explorer, and Store. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

JMck, I looked up your laptop, and it´s fairly new. The problem is: "Why was it refurbished?" I hate to tell you that I'm an enemy of refurbished coputers. They take a computer that still works, clean and lubricate it, and sell it as "refurbished." The improvement could make it run a few times, but the problems were never repaired. If you have a warranty, you might need it.
