Wireless Keyboard

Hi, just bought an Aspire Z Series Part No: PR.SC900.017 2 months ago, and only last night the wireless keyboard had stopped responding. Any reason why?  Keyboard is charged to the monitor for power and a blue light appears, an indication that there is power.  But when I press the touchpad button, it does not respond by way of lighting the various functions on transparent touchpad.  I can't type any character using the wireless keyboard.  I would appreciate any help from Acer community.  Thanks and have a great day!

    Good day

Is the mouse working? Have you changed the batteries on keyboard? If the PC is 2 months old then the accessories are still under warranty. Rather take the machine to the repair centre for diagnostics because if both mouse and keyboard is not working, the possible fault is the dongle itself.

    Regards,

the mouse is working perfectly but the keyboard is not. This is what surprises me, the keyboard is not battery operated, only the mouse.  There is no battery compartment as shown on the demonstration picture.  But I was able to use the keyboard about 2 weeks from purchase, and stopped working for the first time. Then I figured it out by charging it to the monitor which really worked, until last night when I removed the cable for just one hour. And when I returned the connection, it's no longer responding until this point time.
