Acer W510 won't start up

Hey everyone, I had a blue screen occur on my new W510 tablet. It didn't reboot properly, and now when I turn it on I get nothing on the screen and only the Windows key does anything (haptic feedback only). Tried holding power to fully shut down and then power on again, but same issue. I think it's because of Win8's hybrid shut down - it won't fully shut down. I want to boot into recovery, but I can't even get it to reboot completely. I looked in the manual but couldnt find any hard reset instructions. Is there any way to hard reset the W510 and force it to reboot so I can get into recovery? Thanks!

There is not a key sequence for a hard reset on this tablet. Holding the power key down for 5 seconds should completely shut down the unit. You could try going into the BIOS and restoring the BIOS defaults using the instructions at http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27687. If that does not resolve your issue, you may need to completely recover your system. If recovery does not work, my recommendation would be to contact Acer warranty support.
