AO722 HDD Maximum size limitation

I have run out of drive space on my AO722 (250GB) and have acquired a Toshiba 750GB drive to install.  The drive has been "cloned" (3X) with Acronis but the system does not boot.  Message says:

"Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)

Copyright (C) 1997-2000  Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v@.0.2.6(09/28/10)

Check cable connection!

PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

No bootable device --- insert boot disk and press any key."

Is there a maximum HDD size supported by this netbook?  My BIOS is Ver 1.01 if that matters.  You say the unit is "out of warranty" but was purchased new in box from Best Buy in August 2012.  I don't have the receipt as it was a gift from my brother who recently passed away.  I can't find a credit card charge in his account, (I am the executor of his estate) so it likely was a cash purchase as was his normal practice for items under $500.

Not really concerned about the warranty as the unit works fine, but really need to know about the HDD compatibility!  I am A+ certification instructor, so I do know what I am doing.....Robot wink

I certainly appreciate your attention to the serviceability of this model, as I have had occasion to clean the fan and heat sink on a similar one for a neighbor and now the HDD replacement on mine. Man Very Happy  I wish other manufacturers paid this much attention to that issue!!

*** UPDATE ***  I re-installed the original HDD (still boots normally) and updated the BIOS to V1.11 as available on the website.  Still no joy with Toshiba 750GB HDD.  BIOS registers V1.11, AND correctly identifies the HDD model & serial numbers - Toshiba MK7575GSX/SN 51Q1F.... etc.  SO, why does the HDD not boot after cloning with Acronis 2013 HOME??  I have the image file of the old 250GB HDD stored on another system, so I do have a backup of the full system to work from.

I have as yet ('til now) never had a drive cloning to a larger drive NOT work using Acronis over 100's of times as a PC technician!  The only single issue I've ever had was a BIOS restriction, which was cured with a BIOS udate provided by the PC manufacturer (Toshiba) which completely removed the restriction.

Suggestions please?? I seem to have read or seen on Youtube where 1TB drives have been installed in similar netbooks with no problems.  I'm puzzled.
