Acer Laptop will not recognize HDD

Hello All,

I have an Acer Aspire model: 5349-2592 Laptop.

I removed the hard drive (stupid reason not elaborating on this), and I reinstalled and now when I turn on the laptop I get a black screen after the boot (ACER) screen, stating "Check cable connection! PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM. No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"

In BIOS it does not show/recognize HDD model name or HDD Serial number.

When I removed the hard drive I didn't do anything with it, just unplugged it and reinstalled (of course the Laptop was off during all this).

How can I get it back up and running again?? If it helps, there's Win 7 basic running.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you

take it out again and check connection for debris and then put it back in and snugly

go into BIOS and reset defaults after

check to see if it see the HDD
