I just received a new computer at work.  It is a Dell Latitude running Windows 7.  I am using an HDMI conection.  The monitor is displaying "No Signal".  I tried the the standard video cable and the HDMI cable, neither work.  On my old computer I had both the Acer monitor and the laptop monitor on, now I am unable to get the Acer monitor to work again.  Any ideas???

    Hello,

There should be no problem unless you have a compatibility specification issue with the new computer. Have you tried to plug monitor in another unit than the new Dell one you just received at work?

Acer®S243HL 24" LED monitor  LED technology, 2ms response time, 2 X HDMI ports

It shows input signal as follows in the specifications:.

    Input Signal

    Analog
    2 HDMI ports with HDCP

Since you have a no signal posting I am assuming the units are properly plugged in but you may try with other plug as well.

Maybe community has other idea but this is what I can offer you. I not solved I'd contact the Acer support center of your region. Do check the compatibility from the Dell unit as well.

    Good day
