Acer 5733z restored back to default and cannot boot

Hi All:

Maybe somone could help me out.  I used the Acer Recovery discs to fully restore a 5733z that had a nasty virus that I could not get out.  Anyway, The first time I did the restore looked like it worked fine then all of a sudden BSOD came up with Page Fault in NonPaged Area.  Tried booting in Safe mode.  Kept getting same BSOD.  Attempted to recover 2 more times and still the same thing.  BSOD and it's an never ending circle.  Tried hitting Alt F10 for other options and there was none.

I can't even go to Safe Mode with Command Prompt to run ChkDsk which by the way I ran before I reformatted it and it kept bombing out on stage 5 and restarting.

Is the Hard Drive or RAM fried?  Stuck at a brick wall and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave Yaeck

Have you attempted to use the ALT+F10 method to restore the system?

Also, you may want to remove and reseat the RAM module(s).  Possibly also the HDD, just to be sure.
