Gateway set-up

Desperately need your help.  Had to take Gateway Lap Top back to "out of the box" status due to the fact

that "inconsistent signal strength" thru Verizon Internet was ruining my computer.  Now trying to start set-up all over again using Recovery Discs. from Gateway. 

 

First get Gateway logo.  Then windows attempting to start.  Then signal saying "set-up is starting services".  Then is just sits there with that message.  When I put in #1 Recovery disc. nothing happens.  Have tried putting in Windows Repair disc. and nothing happens.

 

Would appreciate your help.  Computer purchased Feb. 2012 and not used over 10 hours before internet problem happened.  Have not attempted to use for several months (been using desk-top) so is now out of warranty and Gateway Tech support wants $240.00 to even talk to me about it.  Please HELP !
