Need battery help

Can anyone help me. I am not tech-savvy and don't know how to post. I recently bought a battery from this Acer website for my almost-3-year-old Aspire computer, and it does not fit in the battery compartment. To return the battery, I have to have a Return Authorization number from my "Acer order representative." I don't have an Acer order rep.; I ordered this online. Acer has the worst customer service I've ever experienced!

 

They do not sell the battery I need; I have to use a different vendor, but I'm just going to go on with Kinkos like I have been. The vendor Best Buy referred me to when I asked them for help was a hassle.But I want to get my money back on the battery I was sent; pretty soon I will give up and buy a new laptop, which is what they are trying to force you to do. Anyone had this problem, or know how I could get a Return Authorization number. I've called them before - it's impossibl;e to get to the person who can help. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
