It's highly unlikely there will be an official update from Acer to 2.3 for this model; there might be "community ROM" images, but I'm not sure.

Hi, there are already threads on Jelly Bean updates for the S500, those contain the last info available.

There might be (paid) applications to do it on Google Play, best to search for Exchange (the server most companies use with Outlook). There is built-in support for Exchange on most Android phones (not 100% sure about the E350), but for all I've seen, the 3rd party apps are simply better at it. Otherwise, your best bet is…

I'm sorry to hear it isn't working, indeed most likely it means the mainboard failed. So, besto to contact Acer, your unit is quite new, so they should repair it under warrranty, right? Understandable you're disappointed now, but after a repair, there should not be further problem, and you can enjoy this notebook for a…

If I've understood properly from other threads, yours is also an Orange RO model, right? Did you already receive the update they have released? It fixes audio problems, so maybe also this one?

Hi, it depends for each country, as local laws and regulations for warranty can be different from each country to another. But in general: yes, water damage means warranty is void; the problem with this kind of damage is that it can cause problems to nearly everything electronic, and that it can be hard to spot. You're…

For data roaming, you can disable it under Settings > Wireless & Networks > More.. > Mobile Networks. For calls, it should be available under SIM (Disable Roaming warning, if I recall well, but not 100% sure). Of course, the risk is that you will also get no warning when switching to foreign providers - especially for data…

Hi, it would really help if you gave a bit more info: which model smartphone, in which way it is locked (lock-screen with passcode, or it does not respond anymore?), and whether you did anything or noticed anything before this problem occured. Else, it'll be hard to try help you out.

Hi, unfortunately it's not easy to add languages to Android; the manufacterers need to add them to the original software image. Frequently they remove them to free up space. For the keyboard, you could check the Google Play store if there are 'replacement keyboards' to solve your query.

It is available on http://www.acer.fr/ac/fr/FR/content/drivers. Select the A700 there, select Ice Cream Sandwich, and select the tab Document. The third document listed is the user guide.

Hi, you'd be better of checking this with Acer directly. There are some people from Acer checking these forums, but warranty can be different from country to country, so without knowing where you are, they cannot answer anyway. You get a quicker response if you contact Acer in your country and ask them.

On most notebooks, videocards are not seperately replaceable, and on those where they can be replaced (MXM cards) it can be quite hard to find the right ones. Maybe best to contact Acer in your country directly to see if they can help you with spare parts, or an alternative solution.

Did you check if there is a driver installed for the audio? If not, download it from the site, and install it.

What you can try is a discharge: If you have a removable battery: 1. Disconnect AC Adapter 2. Remove the battery 3. Press the power button for ~30 sec. 4. Put battery back and AC adapter and check if the notebook powers back on. If you have a non-removable battery, there is a button on the rear or bottom of the case to do…

Hi, in windows 7 and 8 by default it is not showing unless there is a disc in the drive. Maybe it is that? Or is it also missing when you insert a disc?

Frankly, I would contact Acer support about it. The Android module sounds a bit too "fundamental", and if the errors continue to come after a hard reset, I'd fear it's hardware related.

Google de-activated the option for Exchange Sync method for new devices - it seems like the update of the software makes your phone a new device in your Google account. If you're using it for GMail. If you're syncing against a real Exchange server... that ought to still work, I think. Maybe set up the account again (maybe…

I understand your concern for data-loss, but well, if you set up your phone with a Google account, all your contacts, calendar should be synced with Google, and sync back to your phone after a reset. If not, i hope your phone still allows you enough time without errors to do so, as it is convenient way of backing up. Data…

Did you try a hard reset of your phone? I think these steps are also valid for the E330, but not 100% sure: http://acer--uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4322

Which model smartphone do you have?
