Same issue here, but mine started in Windows 11.

Tried getting the same make/model from the Manufacturer, but they were out of stock. I tried from a recommended reseller and though I was getting the same make/model, but it appears that maybe they since changed that model, so I have some variations. I don't have the info on me right now for the chips I got: KINGSTON 8GB…

Also, I did have a Logiteck headset before and have been looking into the connection btw their software and the audio quitting altogether.

Did any of the following make your list: ASUS ROGs (ASUS ROG STRIX GL702VS and ROG G752VT and ROG GL702VS), the Gigabyte P57X V7, MSIs (MSI GE72VR and GT72VR DOMINATOR PRO and GT72VR DOMINATOR PRO DRAGON), or andy Clevos (PA71HS-G and NP8372)?

They are 60hz. For some reason they changed from 75hz. It took me a long time to get to that answer. I had to break through to Tech Support, since Sales didn't know and ACER and XOTIC (either that or XCALIBUR) both contradicted themselves in regards to this refresh rate on Amazon. I feel confident that it is 60hz for all…

I am a perspective buyer and have not pulled the trigger on this purchase yet. I have heard good and bad and have had bad experience with Sales, yet a good experience with Tech Support (which basically admitted sales knows nothing about laptops). How bad has your overheating been and with which specific model? What was…

Would a TN-WideView (IPS equilivent)/VA/AHVA/PLS or any other type have less. I want a high refresh rate and good color without issues. Is it common enough and bad enough to worry about? I am kind of on the fence for purchasing this, as I may go for the ROG Strix for its 120hz Wide-View (IPS equilivent) monitor if it is…

Oh... why didn't I think of that? Oh wait... I DID. Some models have Gsync monitors while others don't and only have Gsync Graphics cards that only use G-sync if you plug in your laptop to a g-sync compatible monitor. Therefore, you can claim a laptop has Gsync without actually being able to utilize it with the stock…

Tried asking ACER again they are still saying the screen is 60hz... Maybe I don't want an ACER anymore if their Sales Dept doesn't know what they are selling and can't give me basic specs. I feel like they are trying to screw me somehow (along with every other computer manufacturer), because all of them seem to leave out…

Thanks again. Now if I can just get ACER to say similarly .
-
Yes, have seen reviews on youtube that say 60 and 75hz and acer told me it is 60. Someone on this thread said all are 75 and i heard similarly from someone on Youtube. Also, I have seen some reviews (a bit older) that say the monitor is not g-sync compatible, despite the GTX1070 being g-sync compatible.

Where do I get that info if Acer cannot even tell me their basic specs?
-
I have been told this by someone else too, but for some reason ACER doesn't know their own products. I just didn't know if when they went to the i7 7700hq if they changed the monitor too... Do you by chance know if the monitor is g-sync compatible?
