Has anyone experienced any issues with screenbleed on this model?

It is normal for an IPS screen/monitor to have some light bleed. Depending how much it is and whether you are comfortable, you can ask for a replacement. If the light bleed is a little don't expect the next laptop to have less or no light bleed at all. It also possible to get a device with even worse light bleed.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Would a TN-WideView (IPS equilivent)/VA/AHVA/PLS  or any other type have less. I want a high refresh rate and good color without issues. Is it common enough and bad enough to worry about? I am kind of on the fence for purchasing this, as I may go for the ROG Strix for its 120hz Wide-View (IPS equilivent) monitor if it is too bad. Was yours distracting or is it likely it would be an issue?

The laptop I own has a little light bleed on the bottom right corner and it hasn't bothered me. It can only be seen when the colour of the screen is black.

On mine in upper corners, right side is the worst.
