Yes, with some caveats. You have to be willing to change fan speeds when switching between gaming and light usage. There is absolutely no way to edit the fan curve that I know of. You can use one of the macro keys to switch from manual fan speed -> auto fan speed. That's what I do now. Though I barely use the thing…

There is no profile for the Helios 700, or any other Helios for that matter. But I'll experiment some with it this weekend. I'd love to be able to not run the thing at close to 2K RPM all the time.

Can anyone confirm that NBFC works on the Helios 700? Looks like it supports custom fan curves, which is fantastic - if it works. I'll have to try it myself this weekend.

When you have a G-Sync monitor, the internal graphics is disabled at hardware level, I believe. And I don't know of any way to enable it even if you want to. Certainly shouldn't happen randomly.
