My v3-472 hard drive comes loose and I have to disassemble to reconnect.

I use my laptop in two locations.  Twice the hard drive has come loose, giving me the "no bootable drive"  the first time I took it back to the geeks, they said it was just loose, but somehow I lost everything and had to reinstall the operating system myself or pay $150.  The second time, I took it apart and put the hard drive back in place.  It works fine, I lost nothing and It cost nothing.  The laptop does not get dropped or tossed around and I transport it in a soft side briefcase.  Is there a fix to keep the drive from coming loose.  This a V-3 472P.  I like it and it is just the right size and weight for the volunteer work I do.

since there are no screws that hold the HDD frame, i would suggest you to put 2 pieces of electrical tape (insulation tape) between the HDD and SATA connector.

this will help to hold the HDD frame to the SATA connector.
