Hello, I am having basically the exact same problem as this person : http://community.acer.com/t5/2013-Archives/Aspire-
I took the exact steps to getting my laptop to power back on, but it is basically dead. And of course my extended warranty expired last month.
What is the fix for this? I have 2 power adapters, and both produce the same result : The orange battery light blinks 5 times when holding the power button. It does nothing with the battery disconnected and the power plugged in.

Has the machine ***ever*** exhibited an unexplained power down or reboot before?
