Aspire 5560-7653 will not turn after microsoft update.

I have an Acer Aspire 5560-7653, S/N: *** It has Windows 7. It had been working fine until I downloaded a Microsoft update about 1 week ago. After the restart it came on for a little while and I noticed a quick blink of the screen, and then it shut down by itself. I cannot now turn it on. Initially, when I depressed the on button the power on light would blink on and off 5 times with an orange light but It would not turn on. I tried the removal of the battery sequence (Document ID: 3180) but this did not help.
