Naming of ACER monitors makes NO SENSE at all

Can someone explain to me whats the reasoning behind model naming of Acer monitors?

I've bought the following monitor:

https://www.alzashop.com/27-acer-predator-xb270hbmjdprz-d2212076.htm?catid=18853364

thinking it was gsync capable since when you google xb270h you mostly get reviews of the gsync model

the naming scheme acer has with its monitors is ridicolous since ACER uses following naming on its website:

UM.XXXXX.XXX

and retailers use the following:

XB270Hbmjdprz

XB270HAbprz

XB270HUbprz

No seriously, do you just use a random string generator for these?

visit the following link and be ready for mass confussion:

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/search?q=bprz

they even all LOOK the same

Are you for real ACER?

this is the dumbest naming scheme of any product line I have ever encountered

Hopefully your quality control isn't as ridicolous as your marketing/management or I am switching monitor I bought for another brand

    BF1,

Well, I would like to see if I can help clarify a little for you. Here is the break down of the actual model (highlighted red) with the feature identifiers (highlighted blue) afterwords.

    XB270H bmjdprz

    XB270H Abprz

    XB270HU bprz

The feature identifiers are letters associated with things such as the generation of the monitor, speakers, video connection capabilities (DVI, HDMI, Display Port, etc), USB hub, etc.

If you would like, I can provide a list (as current as I have visibility) of Gsync capable monitors, according to our documentation:

    XB240H
    XB270H
    XB270HU
    XB271HK
    XB271HU
    XB280HK
    XB281HK

    X35
