Can someone explain to me whats the reasoning behind model naming of Acer monitors?
I've bought the following monitor:
https://www.alzashop.com/27-acer-predator-xb270hbmjdprz-d2212076.htm?catid=18853364
thinking it was gsync capable since when you google xb270h you mostly get reviews of the gsync model
the naming scheme acer has with its monitors is ridicolous since ACER uses following naming on its website:
UM.XXXXX.XXX
and retailers use the following:
XB270Hbmjdprz
XB270HAbprz
XB270HUbprz
No seriously, do you just use a random string generator for these?
visit the following link and be ready for mass confussion:
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/search?q=bprz
they even all LOOK the same
Are you for real ACER?
this is the dumbest naming scheme of any product line I have ever encountered
Hopefully your quality control isn't as ridicolous as your marketing/management or I am switching monitor I bought for another brand
