Aspire E5-771G audio staggers after windows update

After a recent windows update my Aspire E5-771G now makes a gross buzzing sound (the audio appears to be staggering) occasionally when I move my mouse. I don't see any updated driver information on my product info so I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done about it?

    zerdafennec,

I would recommend performing a system restore to before the update. Once you roll it back check the updates it's installing to see if something is for audio. It's most likely just an update issue and installing the updates over may resolve it.

Zerdafennec, see this thread. It seems like you, me and others are experiencing the same issue.

You could try the system restore tool like Acer-Justin mentioned and also turn off automatic updates to see if that helps, but I've had no full success with it. The issue went away for a bit but then it came back again. It's likely a windows bug that microsoft needs to fix soon.

I think I can confirm that Acer-Justin's solution worked. First do a system restore like he suggested, check for recent Windows update and reinstall them. After looking at my update history, I noticed there were some updates that have failed to install, but after installing the updates over again and rebooting the laptop, it seemed like the touchpad issue went away.

    Thank you Acer-Justin! Smiley Happy

For me, ending the "Inter(r) technology access service" process in task manager makes the problem go away. If thsta works, you can disable it from the services tab in MSconfig.
