Hello,

My left click on my touchpad in my ACER Aspire E1-572G running windows 8.1 sticks when dragging/clicking for long. Basically I select a sentence of text or I drag a folder somewhere (for example), and when I release the button the system still thinks I am pressing it. And doesn't let the item go.

Only solution till now is to put laptop on sleep.

Why is this happening! Its driving me crazy. Please help!

Updating the BIOS to version 2.17 worked. I am no longer an angry user. Thanks!

    angryuser,

You can try to do a refresh on the system to see if that fixes any corrupt Windows files.
