My Acer aspire One D270-1596 with Win 7 Starter makes me so annoying recently because each restating time it goes to blue screen and says too much things physical memory dump, etc(even I can't read in that short time). Then it tries to repair and asking me to restore, otherwise it doesn't ON. This process takes apox. 10 mins, and if I have installed some program before that, it probably not working too.
So I am thinking of installing Win 7 ultimate but I never make recovery or back-up disk.
1. Can you please guide me what should I do before re-installation?
2. What are the steps I have to follow while and after installation?
Regards
Frey

I would suggest ultimate would not help in itself, try and get a picture of the blue screen and then maybe someone can help with identifying what the actual problem is. Most of these should be able to fixed easily and quickly.

try to do this one.. first upgrade your RAM into 2gb.. or higher..then if it your screen turns to black or dead screen.. just reset your bios by unmounting the bios memory cell...(dont know the exact term of it so pls give considerations,..) then remount it and try to re-operate your netbook.. it will detect your new hardware changes..
if it will perform good.. then try it with upgraded windows 7 OS..
