Dears,

I have been experiencing issues with weak WiFi signals after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to 10. Signal strenght and connectivity are very poor, even within 5 m from the WiFi router. At the same distance, other devices show full signal strength and experience no problems. I had no issues before upgrading to W10.

I have updated the driver to the latest version. I have unchecked the option to allow the computer to turn of the device to save power. Unfortunately, weak signal and poor connectivity has not been resolved.

Laptop: Acer Aspire V7-582GP

Adapter: Intal Dual Band 7260

Driver version: 18.11.0.8

Any advice to help resolving this issue is more than welcome!

    Koektrommel,

Try removing the driver and restarting to have Windows 10 install their driver, see if that helps. The only other thing I can think of would be to go back to 8, remove the wireless driver before you start the upgrade process itself, and let it get installed through that process.

My recommendation is to go to Intel here:

and download the latest driver at 18.21.0. Your driver is somewhat old and problems may have been fixed since originally released.
