No Num Lock and Caps Lock indicator

This article only applies to: Windows 8

When pressing the Num Lock or Caps Lock on your keyboard, there is no notification to indicate the status. The on-screen indicators for Num Lock and Caps Lock are not available in Windows 8.

Instead, it is possible to activate a beep signal when the key is pressed:

Press the Windows () key to open the Start screen.. Type Control and select Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, select Ease of Access.
Select Change how your keyboard works.
Enable Turn on Toggle Keys.
Click or tap OK to save the changes.
