Keyboard backlight may flicker on Acer Aspire Switch Alpha 12 series

If your keyboard backlight flickers when you disable the backlight, we recommend you download and install the latest firmware for your product.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select BIOS/Firmware.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download. (Keyboard Firware version 097)
