Optical drive eject button does not work

How do I know if my notebook did not include an optical drive?

Some notebooks do not include an optical drive, but still have an eject button and LED. For systems without an optical drive, pressing the eject button will have no function.

Products that ship without an optical drive will have "Optical Drive – NA" listed on the outside of the original box. You can also check the Device Manager as it will not have "DVD/CD-ROM drives" listed.
