if you want to play modern games on lowest possible settings, you need to spend around 500$+ for a used laptop with those capabilities. If you want to play games with decent settings, you need to spend 1000$+

There isn't such a laptop.Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
-Model number
-Part number(not required, but helpful)
-CPU
-GPU-Operating systemHelios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The cheapest laptop you could get is around 600 $

You'll be hard pressed to find a decent gaming laptop for $200. What kind of games are you trying to run? You could look for a refurbished laptop with 940mx (look for ddr5 version) or the mx150 if you can increase your budget a bit.
